Amy, thanks for sharing this. Shankman’s point about new is right on:

“In order to deliver your message properly, you have to know how your audience likes to get theirs and there is only one way to do that: You have to ask them!”

This is true not just for news, but for information, answers, and media more generally.

Know thy audience. Know how thy audience consumes media and uses the internet.

If you can do that, you’ll have success gaining eyeballs and actions.

What was truly shocking to me too is that so many lawyers came out and so few marketers. How they are changing the process from a law firm internal resources perspective makes me a bit uneasy.

Amy I agree. Most important to pick the most motivated lawyers for coaching. Those who “need” coaching really do not want it and they can drag others in a group down.

You’re so right about blogging. And still, I only post once every three months. I don’t know what that’s about but it’s not hits. I found your blog because we have the same name and you’ve used our name beautifully! NotKnapping! Fantastic. I’ve said if only I could marry a man named Dr. All The Time, I’d be Amy Knapp All The Time. Perfect. Shortly after I made that joke, I was set up with a man named Mr. Offen.

Anyway, I love that you ended up in one of the happiest marriages on record. Congrats. Keep up the good work!
